Wrap Personal Portfolio

Every client on Wrap who has a Wrap ISA also has a Personal Portfolio which works just like our Wrap Stocks and Shares ISA, but without the same tax benefits. Investments held within your client’s Wrap Personal Portfolio will be subject to capital gains tax on withdrawals and UK personal income tax.

A cash account is included as part of this product – either to cover charges or as part of a longer term investment strategy. You can see the current interest rates for this cash account on the Wrap charges and interest rates page.

Investment choices

Because Personal Portfolio isn’t a tax wrapper, a wide choice of investments is available. These include:

  • Unit trusts
  • Open Ended Investment Companies (OEICs)
  • Investment trusts
  • Exchange traded funds
  • Venture capital trusts
  • UK equities
  • Gilts

You can access more than 2,500 mutual funds from a wide range of fund managers.

MyFolio funds

We offer a range of risk managed funds to meet a variety of client needs from long term capital growth to income generation. Our award winning MyFolio range is one of the largest and fastest growing ranges of risk related funds in the market.

Investment limits

There is no maximum or minimum investment in a Personal Portfolio, but the value of the Wrap Personal Portfolio must be at least £500. Some mutual funds may have other restrictions.

Unlimited withdrawals can be made at any time using the Wrap platform. Withdrawal payments will normally be transferred to the client’s Wrap cash account or nominated external bank account.

Eligibility

Investors must be UK residents and 18 years or over.
