Our insight shows that the workplace is key for engaging employees with their company pension. The right messages delivered effectively can help them appreciate its value, and recognise the importance of saving for their retirement.

We have campaigns available for workplace schemes, whether they require support through the auto-enrolment process or want to build awareness and ongoing engagement. We have two versions. Ongoing support

Once people have taken up their workplace benefits, the job is far from over. Support and service need to be in place to maintain engagement, build interest and offer ongoing reassurance.

We're committed to investing in innovative ways to engage customers with their pension. Our aim is to raise awareness through retirement roadshows, social media, national press, YouTube videos, radio interviews and events across the country.

So that’s why our company pension websites for employees are full of insight driven content, not only about joining the pension, but getting the most out of it once they’re a member. The websites have tools and information that help members manage their payments and investments as well as prepare for retirement.

Our retirement journey reflects the greater choice available to members at retirement. It starts from age 50 and is based on customer needs and is driven by a member's age and behaviour in the run up to retirement.  It follows 3 phrases:

  • Initial awareness  - age 50-54
  • Planning and deciding  - age 54-until action is taken
  • Review  - after action has been taken

We'll continue our retirement roadshow programme in 2015 and are developing our approach for next year based on customer feedback.

We offer dedicated helpline numbers with a UK-based award winning customer service team, on hand to provide guidance and help whenever it’s needed. Plus online tools and educational content for people who would prefer to interact online.
