International Bond – Structured Deposits
The International Bond can be written on either a Life Assurance or Capital Redemption basis. All information on this page is relevant to both options.
Standard Life International dac is able to provide access to structured deposits offering capital security at maturity of the deposit, with the opportunity to earn higher returns than in a regular savings account.
Please note this is a non-advice service and we do not provide a whole of market view.
We will conduct checks to ensure the structured deposit complies with our internal operational requirements and governing body rules, regulations and guidelines. To complete the assessment and determine if we can administer the investment we will need to see a copy of the product guide. All investment choices are made at your client's risk, so it is important that they seek appropriate financial advice. Standard Life International is not responsible for the suitability, performance or solvency of the providers of the investments available through the International Bond.
We’ll apply a stepped product charge, ranging from 0.20% to 0.55% a year, depending upon the size of the bond, to investments made in structured deposits.
To facilitate our checks on a structured deposit please get in touch with your account manager or submit the product guide to dublinassetadmin@standardlife.ie. As email is not a secure method of communication, please don’t include your clients personal or plan information in your message.
In the event of a structured deposit provider being unable to meet any claims against it, any funds from your client's bond held in a structured deposit with that provider will not be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
