Not all fund platforms are the same.....

  • Remuneration flexibility
  • You're in control
  • Improving Business Efficiency
The concept of a mutual funds supermarket isn’t new. So, what makes FundZone different from the rest?

Yes, we have lots of funds from many of the UK’s leading fund houses for you to choose from. But of course you’d expect that.

Yes, we offer these funds at competitive rates. You’d expect that too.

But we’ve also listened to you and can offer some features that you say you really want.

Remuneration flexibility
It’s your business, it’s your remuneration. That’s why we offer you a wide, flexible range of remuneration options. You can choose a shape that best suits the needs of your business and your client. You decide.

An example of this flexibility is that for the first time you have the option to vary the amount of renewal commission you choose to take from 0% to 1.5%.

Here are some further options:

  • Full Initial Commission
  • Nil Initial Commission
  • Funded Initial Commission up to 3%
  • A combination of Initial and Funded Initial Commission up to 6%
  • Rebate Renewal Commission to improve client terms
  • Up to 3% commission on fund switches
  • Option for client to have 100% of their money invested at outset through the Funded Initial Charge where commission give-up is insufficient to wipe out the initial charge.

Full details of the commission shapes, including worked examples, are shown in the Guide to Commission and Charges (code FZMF21). An online calculator is available as a stage in the online new business submission process to help you make your choices.

You’re in control
One of the key attractions FundZone offers is the facility to transfer your clients’ Mutual Fund investments onto the platform either by means of re-registration or a cash transfer.

Transferring the administration of client investments onto the FundZone platform lets both you and your clients view their investments in one place. Having information at your fingertips makes a client review and any resultant action quick and simple to perform and easy to complete.

We want you to stay with us and believe FundZone offers everything you require. However, we recognise that you are the adviser, and as such you should retain control over your client’s assets both now and in the future. Therefore, you always have the right to re-register/transfer your assets off our platform – something that many of the existing supermarkets do not currently allow.

For more information on re-registration and cash transfers to our platform please see the Re-registration Adviser Guide or contact your local Business Centre.

Improving Business Efficiency
FundZone can help you significantly reduce the time you spend on administration, allowing more time to spend advising clients. For example:

  • Dealing with just one provider where you have all your clients’ details consolidated, will save you a lot of time
  • Flexibility to transact online or by paper application
  • Online new business tracking facility tracks transfers, re-registrations and switches.
  • Simple to switch between funds to adjust client portfolios.
  • Online valuations.
  • Portfolio Planner is available to help quickly determine asset allocation.
  • ORRA Risk Questionnaire to help determine a client’s attitude to risk.
