As part of the continued development of the Standard Life SIPP, we are pleased to announce some enhancements to the proposition which have recently been introduced.
Protected Rights
The minima for access to the Standard Life SIPP and Pension Fund Withdrawal Plan (PFWP) contracts have been updated and the new minimum entry levels are shown below;

£50,000 |
| PFWP |

£50,000 |
| Combined SIPP

Overall

Overall

This makes the minima for SIPP and PFWP the same, and for clients with both types of contracts, the overall amount can be made up of any combination.
Increased FBRC for PFWP
In addition to the changes on minima, the maximum amount of fund based renewal commission (FBRC) available on PFWP has been increased from 0.5% up to 1%. This again brings PFWP in line with SIPP.
Shortened SIPP Application Form
To help reduce the length and complexity of the SIPP application process, we have introduced a new shortened application form. This is exclusive to clients looking to invest in our sigma Insured and Mutual fund range and do not want to enter into immediate drawdown. Click here to view our new simplified application form (SLSIP30A). This is also available to download from the literature section on adviserzone.
New Cash solutions on SIPP
In the current market the need for cash solutions has risen in prominence. Therefore, we are pleased to advise that we have added two new cash solutions onto SIPP;
One Year Fixed Rate Account
30 Day Notice Account
- Both are being offered by Standard Life Bank and are available as an outer ring investment on SIPP.
- We have waived the normal transaction charge of £50.00 for all money transfers to and from these accounts.
- Both accounts have a minimum deposit value of £25,000.
- No additional application is required to open the accounts.
