Trustees of existing trusts have investment powers and responsibilities. Modern legislation now gives most Trustees wide investment powers. Trustees also need to consider the suitability of investments, the need to diversify if appropriate and the need to take advice to guide them in their investment decisions. An investment bond may be a suitable trustee investment. Mutual funds may also be suitable. Standard Life has tailored its investment application forms for trustee investors and the links to these forms can be found on this page. |
